El otro dia en "20 minutos" salia la noticia de un "album" recopilatorio de Pink Floyd, para celebrar los 40 años de su formación....

Sinceramente, me cayó como un jarro de agua fría.

Recuerdo haber ido al cine a ver Live in Pompeya... pero, claro o sea que de eso hace... mmmmm..... pues...... unos 32 años !!!!

Para las nuevas generaciones:

Según la Wikipedia:
El Concierto para Bangladesh, fue un evento organizado por George Harrison y ayudado por Ravi Shankar, para recaudar fondos por la tragedia que vivía Bangladesh, empezó a las 7 de la tarde del 1 de agosto de 1971, se celebró en el Madison Square Garden, de Nueva York, asistiendo sobre unas 40.000 personas. Es considerado uno de los conciertos benéficos mas importantes de toda la historia por la talla de los artistas que participaron, como Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr entro otros.

El álbum del concierto fue lanzado a mediados de 1971, y la película se estreno en 1972, saliendo después en vídeo. En el 2005 salió el DVD incluyendo un documental.

Se recaudo unos 243,418.50 $ los cuales se entregaron a UNICEF. Los beneficios recaudados entre el vídeo y el DVD, todavía se siguen entregando a UNICEF por la Fundación de George Harrison.

Bueno, este vídeo es un poco distinto. Se trata de una pieza clásica que interpretan en la película de Stanley Kubrick "Barry Lyndon" cuya BSO está llena de estupendas canciones. Y la película, siendo de Kubrick, genial en sus detalles.

Esta en particular es de las que más me gustan.
